The Assistant Engineer will be responsible for supervising and following up the implementation of all works in the school rehabilitation in Syria according to the directives of the site engineer, ensuring that the works are carried out with high quality and in accordance with the objectives of the project, ensuring documentation and implementation in accordance with the requirements of management and donors, assisting in the preparation of bills of quantities for the implemented works, supervising the implementation of infrastructure construction and housing units in accordance with the project plan as directed Site Engineer.

- Prepare the required reports related to the project, program, donors and partners.
- Internal communication and organization of information on the implementation of project activities on a regular basis between field teams and cooperation with relevant departments (programs - logistics - monitoring and evaluation proposals).
- Maintain a positive, continuous and clear presence of the enterprise, as well as build and develop good relationships with partners, local authorities and stakeholders.
- Providing the necessary technical support in developing plans and studies for development projects that achieve integration between the water and shelter sector and other regulatory sectors.
- Solving the emergency problems facing the project and addressing them according to the regular methods and in coordination with the project coordinator in Syria
- Networking and holding periodic meetings with representatives of the local community to facilitate work and take feedback for improvement and development
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and the Organization's policies related to the protection of children's rights and the prevention of sexual exploitation.
- Ensuring that accountability and safeguarding procedures are adhered to and followed, and that any observation is reported.
- Preserving the dignity of the beneficiaries and not causing any harm.
- Respecting and applying all principles of protection from sexual exploitation and abuse and the child protection policy, and the obligation to report any incident of sexual exploitation or abuse or any breach of the protection policy.
- Adhering to all Ghiras Al-Nahda organization policies and abiding by administrative orders and disciplinary procedures in the event of any violations.
- A pledge to abide by the zero-tolerance policy adopted by the Ghiras Al-Nahda organization in cases of sexual exploitation and abuse, and immediate reporting in the event of any violation in this regard.
