The TL is responsible to supervise and Lead Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) Search and Clearance teams in areas contaminated with Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) & Explosive Ordnance (EO) which may include, Non-Technical Survey (NTS), Battle Area Clearance (BAC), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Spot tasks, Manual Mine Clearance (MMC), Technical Survey (TS).
The TL reports to the Technical Field Manager (TFM), where He/she will contribute to maintaining safety, discipline and team spirit and engage in operational tasks as directed to meet operational requirements. Work With the TFM as directed in line with Humanity & Inclusion (HI) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a safe and controlled manner.

Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
Education:
A university degree in a relevant field such as engineering is required, or a technical diploma with substantial relevant experience.
Additional certifications in Mine Action, Risk Education, or safety management are considered an asset.
Professional Experience:
At least 3–5 years of experience in humanitarian or operational fieldwork.
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role, ideally within Mine Action, Risk Education, or similar sectors.
Experience coordinating with international NGOs or working in high-risk environments is an asset.

The position is based in: the duty station is not defined yet, but could be Hama or Idlib.
Start date: will be identified upon donor confirmation.
Basic salary for the position: according to HI salary scale.
