Job Summary
The Pharmacist will assist medical staff in the care and treatment of patients in the Mobile Medical Unit based in Damascus, Syria. The Pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of care as they help treat patients. He / She will collaborate with medical logistics for the preparation of medications transport and organization of medications in the MMU and safe and appropriate dispensing of medication to patients.
Job Duties
- Communicates respectfully and effectively with providers.
- Restock medications and supplies in coordination with medical logistics.
- Verifies medication orders for dosing accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Safely dispenses and administers medications according to medical doctor’s orders.
- Work with medical doctor to provide quality patient education related to medications and discharge instructions.
- Assess educational needs of patients and clinic staff related to medications.
- Assist program manager and senior officer in developing educational material related to medications.
- Cares for patients with a kind and respectful manner.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Needed
•Has pharmacy certification.
