
The Education and Protection Program Coordinator is responsible for the strategic design, coordination, and quality assurance of education and protection interventions. The role ensures all activities align with organizational priorities, humanitarian principles, and donor requirements.
The coordinator provides technical support to field teams, strengthens implementation through periodic follow-up, and ensures integration of protection and education standards across all phases of programming. A key focus is on fostering partnerships and maintaining strong coordination with local authorities, cluster actors, and community stakeholders. The role also contributes to proposal development, staff capacity building, and mainstreaming cross-cutting themes such as inclusion, equity, and accountability

Note:

Education:
bachelor’s degree in education, Social Work, or a related humanities or social sciencefield. A postgraduate degree in education or educational planning is preferable.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in education program coordination and management, particularly in formal and non-formal education settings, teacher support, and child well-being. Demonstrated engagement in protection-sensitive education and inclusive learning approaches is required.
Languages:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
