The role involves assisting in the necessary Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Non-Technical Survey (NTS) procedures. The candidate will support the identification, marking, mapping, and reporting of all explosive remnants of war (ERW), including suspected and confirmed hazardous areas, to ensure they are accurately entered into the national database. All tasks must be carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to EOD and NTS activities. The role also requires maintaining constant and direct communication with the Operations Room and adhering to all instructions issued by the Team Leader or, in their absence, the Deputy Team Leader.

Desirable Criteria:

 

1 to 2 years of experience in the NGO sector.

Good level of spoken and written English.

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in non-technical survey of explosive remnants of war.

Experience in fieldwork
