Calibrate the furnace used in the burning of waste materials and the potential recovery of energy from incineration processes, by measuring the operation settings such as temperature and pressure and changing them to the required settings to ensure efficient and safe operations.

·       Measure temperature of product to determine necessity for adjusting furnace temperature or timing cycle, using thermal instruments and charts.

·       Monitor the procedures involved in the incineration of waste and potential energy recovery from the process, to ensure that it is compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as to ensure efficiency and proper functioning of the incineration equipment.

·       Perform routine check on the functionality of the incinerator and identify and faults.

·       Supervise the incinerator workers and oversee cleaning activities.

·       Ensuring availability of hygiene and sanitation products and draws up orders for on-going needs.

·       Informing any repair or maintenance work needed related to the incinerator, cranes, conveyor equipment, and exhaust system.

·       Informing any relevant information related to his/her responsibilities or any incidents that might compromise his/her (or that of others) safety or security.

·       Any other related DDD tasks as assigned by supervisor/line manager.
