The Compliance Coordinator at Bonyan, will ensure that the organization’s finances and operations are adherence to the organization’s policies, and satisfy donor requirements. The Compliance Coordinatorfulfill this role through gatekeeping and have to meticulously check documents like reports, contracts, payrolls, and spending plans to ensure there are no mistakes, risks, or compliance gaps and that everything is aligned.
Support the organization by tracking compliance through various processes and frameworks not at a macro level, but at a micro level through collaboration. This includes the evaluation of monthly cost reports, donor budgets, payrolls, and financial reports for all the offices and projects. I also take part in internal audits and perform spot check reviews and tracking of audit response action plans.
Help defend the organization from financial, legal, or ethical risks, and at the same time reinforce the organizational culture of accountability and trust. This literally means doing the right thing, tracking details, building trust, and supporting teams to perform their roles without burdening them with unnecessary processes.
