Project Management & Technical Oversight
- Assist in implementing, and monitoring health project activities based on approved work plans and timelines.
- Ensure that health activities are in line with protocols and donor requirements.
- Provide technical support to field teams and health facilities to maintain quality service delivery.
- Support the team in defining essential drug lists and service packages based on program scope.
Field Coordination and Implementation
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor service provision and identify gaps or capacity-building needs.
- Provide technical supervision and coaching to field staff including pharmacists, health officers, and focal points.
- Ensure coordination between field and central teams for effective implementation and issue resolution.
Reporting and Documentation
- Collect, analyze, and report health activity data in coordination with MEAL teams.
- Prepare and submit regular technical and narrative reports as per internal and donor requirements.
Medical Commodities Management
- Support the Health Coordinator in defining essential drug lists and service packages based on program scope.
- Oversee the procurement, storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor stock data and consumption rates, address issues such as stock-outs, overstocking, or expiry risks.
- Ensure compliance with GDP standards at central warehouses and supported facilities.
- Collaborate with partners and logistics teams on stock orders, technical specifications, and delivery follow-up.
- Build capacity of staff in pharmacy management and stock tracking through training and mentoring.
