The social worker works to support the most vulnerable individuals and families by providing assessment, counseling, referral, and follow-up services, with the aim of enabling them
to access their rights and improve their social and psychological conditions within the framework of humanitarian response and the ethical principles of the profession.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial and comprehensive social assessments of beneficiaries within the project scope.
• Provide individual and group social support and counseling sessions tailored to the needs of the target group.
• Prepare and implement appropriate intervention plans in coordination with the beneficiary and relevant authorities.
• Work on referrals and follow-up with internal and external service providers according to the approved referral system.
• Implement awareness-raising activities and group psychosocial support sessions in the community or at centers.
• Document all information and activities using approved forms and records.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and respect the dignity of beneficiaries at all times.
• Collaborate with the protection team, case manager, and service providers to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated response.
• Participate in community needs assessments and contribute to improving the program's response.
• Submit periodic reports on field work, challenges, and achievements.
• Adhere to protection policies and humanitarian principles.
• Attend periodic meetings and workshops related to professional capacity building.
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly and narrative project reports.
• Commitment to implementing administrative and technical instructions issued by management and direct supervisor.
• Full adherence to child protection, gender, and anti-sexual exploitation and abuse policies.
• Respect the professional and ethical code of conduct for social workers.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for beneficiaries, especially vulnerable groups.
• Support monitoring and evaluation processes and ensure the implementation of relevant recommendations.

Requirements:
• A university degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in social work or within protection projects.
• A good understanding of protection principles and the foundations of social work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive cases.
• Ability to document data and maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Additional advantage:
• Experience in humanitarian or community work.
• Proficiency in English.
• Prior training in psychological first aid, case management, or community protection..
