Main duties and responsibilities:
1.Project Implementation and Coordination:
- Support the planning and implementation of project activities in Livelihoods, Cash Assistance, Protection, and other relevant sectors.
- Coordinate with local partners and community leaders to ensure smooth and participatory implementation.
- Oversee beneficiary identification and verification processes to ensure inclusion and fairness.
- Facilitate the distribution of cash and in-kind assistance, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor standards.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor ongoing activities and report on progress, gaps, and risks.
- Coordinate logistics and administrative arrangements with support teams for effective field operations.
- Support partners and community facilitators in day-to-day implementation and troubleshoot field-level issues.
- Ensure active participation of vulnerable groups in project activities.
2.Partner Coordination and Support:
- Act as the primary field focal point for Mission East’s implementing partners in Homs and surrounding areas.
- Support the capacity-building of partner staff.
- Monitor partner activity implementation and provide feedback to ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to agreed-upon plans.
- Facilitate joint planning and coordination between Mission East and partners to align on objectives, targets, and community engagement strategies.
- Document best practices and challenges in partner implementation and relay them to the Program Manager for follow-up.
- Ensure that partners adhere to safeguarding, protection, accountability, and inclusion standards during project delivery.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning:
- Support data collection and assessments (baseline, endline, PDM, needs assessments) using tools like Kobo or paper-based forms.
- Document community feedback and complaints and follow up in collaboration with the MEAL team.
- Contribute to project learning by documenting case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Provide regular and timely field reports on project implementation, including challenges and achievements.
- Ensure that beneficiaries and community members are aware of and can access complaint and feedback mechanisms.
- Support the organization and facilitation of evaluation missions, including coordination with partners and community stakeholders during mid-term and final evaluations.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Submit weekly and monthly activity updates and field visit reports to the Program Manager in Arabic and English.
- Assist in preparing inputs for donor reports, internal reporting, and coordination platforms.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of field-level data, beneficiary lists, and distribution records.
