Ektimisi is looking for field team leads in Lebanon, Gaza (OPT), Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine or Iraq. The field team lead must be in one of these countries. The Field Team Lead will be responsible for networking with field enumerators, coordinating data collection activities, supervising field teams, ensuring quality assurance, and supporting operational logistics. This includes field-based support, remote coordination, and contribution to data analysis and reporting when needed.
- Recruit, train, and supervise field enumerators.
- Maintain a reserve list of trained enumerators to ensure continuity.
- Assign enumerators based on local language/dialect and geographic location.
- Plan and coordinate transportation, venue access, and other logistics for fieldwork.
- Support the pre-testing, adaptation, and rollout of data collection tools.
- Ensure enumerators understand ethical protocols, informed consent, and data protection.
- Coordinate communication with beneficiaries using multiple channels (phone, messaging apps, in-person).
- Ensure timely access to accurate and complete beneficiary lists.
- Monitor daily data collection activities for timeliness and quality.
- Review and verify data submissions for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Provide direct feedback and technical support to enumerators.
- Conduct data analysis using Excel (e.g., summary tables, outlier detection).
- Draft short, clear field visit reports highlighting issues, findings, and recommendations.
- Act as the security focal point for field missions, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Report incidents or operational risks promptly to the project manager.
- Participate in coordination calls with Ektimisi technical and project teams.
- Perform additional coordination tasks as needed based on the nature of assignments.
- Minimum 4 years of field coordination experience in humanitarian or development settings.
- Proven ability to manage field teams and coordinate data collection at governorate level.
- Fluency in Arabic (required); English at intermediate level or above.
- Strong skills in using Excel and digital data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox).
- Experience working with beneficiaries and local authorities in the country of his/ her residence.
- University degree in social sciences, development studies, or related field.
