-Provide high quality services (as an Operation Technician) and coordinate with the Surgeons according to the agreed roster.
-Prepare operations rooms and equip them with required sets and materials before each operation
-Prepare the operation zone according to the instructions of the doctor and assist in preparing the patients.
-Count needles, sets, gauzes, abdomen gauze during each operation, after, before closing the incision, and write the numbers down.
-Assist the doctor during the operation by giving the sets, sutures and other necessary materials.
-Supervise operation room's hygiene and sterilization.
-Operate medical devices and report their problems (of they are found).
- Put sample and biopsies in sterilized containers, send them to labs, and write down necessary information about them.
-Write down patients' information in special registration book for statistics purposes.
-Assist in taking the patient out after the completion of the operation.
-Apply safety rules and principles before and after surgical interventions.
-Do other duties -within his/her experiences- assigned by the Surgeon, the Medical Coordinator or the Medical Coordinator Assistant.
-Strictly adhere to humanitarian and protection principles and standards, as well as organizational policies including the Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and Child Protection
