Implementation and Supervision of All M&E Activities

• In collaboration with the Field Officers and the Senior Program Manager, follow up on preparing the M&E Plan for ongoing and new programs, including timeframe of activities, data collection methodology, tools to be used, and expected delivery.
• Ensure the follow-up of program indicators by sampling, collecting, and analyzing data, guaranteeing quality data and reviewing reports.
• Support all program teams in conducting monitoring surveys, including reviewing methodologies and providing necessary training.
• Work with M&E officers to produce monitoring and evaluation reports, develop recommendations, and disseminate findings through feedback sessions and visualization techniques.

Data Management and Analysis

• Review project documents to ensure proper data management practices.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a highly performing Information Team.
• Design and administer the central database for program tracking and analysis.
• Provide information management (IM) services for key decision-making, including data collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously update IM products.
• Ensure accurate data input from various sources and partners into the database.
• Maintain a dashboard interface (accessible online) for tracking projects and reporting on indicators and progress.
• Continuously improve the structure and functionality of the database in response to program needs.
• Train program staff on database usage and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including database design manuals and user guidelines.
• Maintain periodic assessment documents in coordination with the Senior Program Manager.
• Follow up on health facility attacks with the Health Cluster.

Planning Involvement

• Develop strategies to enhance database management and accessibility.
• Improve mapping tools for program visualization and tracking.
• Oversee financial and logistical aspects of MEAL/IMU activities when required.
• Manage cash forecasts related to MEAL/IMU activities if needed.
• Develop MEAL/IMU plans for different projects and programs.
• Create the annual MEAL/IMU plan to align with organizational goals.
• Develop a capacity-building plan for the MEAL/IMU team.

Communication and Reporting

• Maintain regular communication with local partners to ensure effective collaboration.
• Report on performance and document assessments to the Senior Program Manager.
• Ensure clear and effective reporting channels between the field and the Country office.
• Initiate reporting methods that enhance transparency and credibility.

Office Culture

• Lead team-building initiatives to promote collaboration and efficiency.
• Foster a positive, professional, and respectful office culture.
• Ensure effective internal communication among teams.

Mandatory Qualifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field Preferably Management Information Systems
  • 5 years’ experience in Information and MEAL management in NGO Sector

Languages

• Fluent written and spoken in Arabic
• Upper-Intermediate written and spoken English
