Global Harmony Foundation (GHF) is seeking motivated and passionate volunteers to join our team in Damascus, Syria. As a non-profit organization working at the intersection of humanitarian assistance, development, and peacebuilding, we strive to empower communities, foster economic growth, and support sustainable livelihoods.
Volunteers will play a vital role in strengthening GHF’s operations, supporting program and business development, and engaging with stakeholders to maximize community impact. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in humanitarian and development work while contributing to initiatives that promote justice, dignity, and inclusivity.
Support program and business development activities, including program design and documentation.
Represent GHF in meetings with stakeholders, partners, and community actors.
Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Explore and promote new opportunities to expand GHF’s impact and reach.
Support operational tasks related to project coordination, communication, and reporting.
Strong interest in humanitarian work, community development, and peacebuilding.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage with stakeholders and represent the organization professionally.
Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn.
Previous volunteering or professional experience in NGOs, community initiatives, or related fields is an asset (but not mandatory).
Based in Damascus, Syria (or able to volunteer locally).
