Contract type: Special Service Agreement.

Duty Station: Syria- NSW (Aleppo-Menbij) (Idleb - Al Bara - Qah).

Number of Vacancies: 3.

JOB SUMMARY :

Assignment Purpose: The function of the M/E Facilitator is to support implementation of monitoring and evaluation

activities in the field, facilitate learning events, assist community engagement to strengthen accountability, and contribute

to documentation of best practices and lessons learned for IMC programs in Syria .


 

 Uphold IMC policies, Code of Conduct, and actively support PSEA standards

• Assist community engagement initiatives aligned with AAP (IASC CAAP, CHS, Sphere) and CBFRM

concept.

• Support field implementation of M/E activities per workplans (e.g., PDMs, data quality audits,

surveys/assessments, operational research)

• Use approved tools to collect qualitative (with guidance from M/E Assistant/Officer) and quantitative

data at facility and community levels

• Conduct routine on-site data quality checks and data cleaning; identify/correct deficiencies or errors

• Use mobile data collection platforms (smartphones/tablets); assist in developing mobile tools

• Perform duties as assigned, maintaining compliance with IMC and donor standards.

The duties and responsibilities listed in this document are representative of the nature and level of work

assigned and not necessarily comprehensive.


 

 Basic understanding of M/E and informed consent; able to follow data collection SOPs.

 Experience (6-12 months) collecting data with Kobo/ODK on smartphones/tablets.

 Strong local language proficiency; clear communication with participants.

 Commitment to confidentiality, PSEA, and AAP; respectful, professional conduct.

 Willingness to travel extensively to field sites.
