Job description
Job Purpose
The Logistic Officer is responsible for:
• Manage and follow up on all logistics,
procurement, and administrative operations
related to the project and the Damascus
office, ensuring compliance with organizational
procedures and donor regulations.

• Ensure the smooth implementation of all
logistical activities required for the project and
the Damascus office.
• Coordinate and follow up on procurement
processes, including sourcing, quotations,
purchase requests, and purchase orders, in line
with internal policies.
• Maintain updated procurement records and
vendor databases.
• Oversee the delivery and distribution of supplies,
ensuring proper documentation and receipt
confirmation.
Support in organizing workshops, meetings, and
field activities by arranging venues,
transportation, accommodation, and necessary
logistics.
• Monitor the inventory of office and project
supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Ensure proper archiving (both digital and
physical) of all logistics and procurement
documentation.
• Coordinate with the administrative team to
support the daily operational needs of the
Damascus office.
• Ensure proper maintenance and management of
office assets and equipment.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and
relevant stakeholders as needed.
• Prepare periodic logistics and procurement
reports as required by management or donors.
• Respect and apply all the PSEA and child
protection principles and show high commitment
to report any PSEA & CP action.….
• Commitment to implementing the child
safeguarding and PSEA policy by considering
them when planning and designing activities as
well as when receiving complaints or observing
issues related to this matter and fulfill their
obligation to report it directly via the assigned
channels or directly to senior management.
Raising awareness to their assigned staff of the
child safeguarding and PSEA policy plus
reporting mechanisms and how to deal with it.

Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain
Management, Business Administration, or a
related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or
procurement, preferably in a humanitarian or
NGO context.
• Advance level in English and fluent in Arabic
B. Desirable:
• Advanced university degree in Supply-Chain or
Finance, or related fields.
• More than 2 years in relevant experience.
• Experience with Office Microsoft is highly
desirable.
• Advanced level of both English, and Turkish.
