Leadership & Strategy:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT Officers and IT staff, ensuring high levels of performance, development, and collaboration.
• Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Oversee IT project planning, development, and execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
• Identify and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency, enhance user experience, and drive innovation within the organization.
• Prepare and manage the IT department's budget, including forecasting and resource allocation.
IT Operations & Infrastructure Management:
• Ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades or improvements to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Oversee IT asset management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of hardware and software.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, service providers, and consultants to support IT operations.
Team Management:
• Provide leadership and direction to IT Officers, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor the performance of IT Officers and provide guidance and training where needed.
• Ensure IT Officers effectively manage their respective areas, such as network administration, system support, cybersecurity, and helpdesk operations.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide career development opportunities for IT Officers and team members.
Security & Compliance:
• Ensure that IT security policies, procedures, and systems are in place to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cybersecurity threats.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and ensure that the organization's systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect data integrity and availability in the event of system failures or emergencies.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
• Stay informed of emerging technology trends and assess their potential application to the business.
• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department to support organizational growth and agility.
• Regularly review and evaluate the performance of existing IT systems, processes, and tools, recommending upgrades or changes where necessary.
In Addition to the above, the IT Expert might be asked to carry out other duties requested by supervisor or line manager as needed.
A university diploma/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable qualification in IT.
3.Foreign language skills
English is a must and excellent written and spoken English skills are required.
2. Social skills
2.1 Social skills :Able to simplify complex IT topics and communicate with others.
2.2 Must be a reliable and willing to contribute to team results.

4- Language: Fluent in English and Arabic, Turkish is an asset
