Consortium Management

• In support of the DRC Country Manager, guide the consortium to achieve its strategic objectives in line with a partnership approach that respects and leverages the unique capacities of all partners, collectively and complementarily.
• Lead in the coordination of all aspects of the consortium agreement with all partners.
• Facilitate regular coordination, planning, and review meetings and workshops and actively support the convening of technical discussions. Prepare and oversee relevant action points and recommendations.
• Actively and regularly share information and updates among partners.
• Coordination with all consortium partners to ensure efficient and supportive engagement with relevant SARC departments and units.
• Support the DRC Country Manager to engage with SARC leadership on strategic priorities and work with and support SARC in cross-departmental coordination, communication, and planning.

Project Cycle Management (PCM)

• Oversee and ensure the effective, efficient, timely, quality and accountable implementation of all stages of the project cycle, recognising and supporting SARC’s role as implementing partner and the supportive role of each movement partner.
• Directly responsible to ensure all compliance and contractual commitments are met, taking initiative to liaise with all relevant stakeholders on their respective tasks and accountabilities to actively find solutions to challenges, elevating issues for support, as necessary.
• Liaise with all consortium partners to ensure regular Quality Assurance is undertaken, with any necessary adaptations implemented, in accordance with humanitarian principles and standards.
• Enhance the focus on learning and evidence generation.
• Ensure support to SARC in the roll-out of accountability mechanisms.
• Guide the consortium in the prioritisation of area-based interventions in line with SARC’s priorities, within the parameters of the ECHO funded action and in complement of and complemented by other aligned programmes.
• Coordinate and compile all narrative reports, budget oversight and management and liaise with DRC Finance Delegate on financial reporting for all partners.

Project Management

• Accountable for the delivery of actions under Danish Red Cross (DRC) portfolio, with specific emphasis on Health and MHPSS programming.
• Close engagement and support to SARC to ensure timely and quality project delivery, within budget.
• Close coordination with the DRC Finance Delegate on financial management and reporting.

Capacity Sharing

• Facilitate, promote, and oversee multi-way capacity sharing among all consortium partners in line with their respective institutional capacities.
• Work with relevant SARC staff in the development of a capacity roadmap on ECHO compliance and contractual obligations, organise relevant trainings and mentorship opportunities.

Strategic Direction

• Stay abreast of the broader humanitarian and recovery context in the country, the region and sector (globally) to ensure continued and enhanced relevance of the work of the consortium.
• Guide the consortium in articulating the unique added value of the work of the consortium.
• Support the consortium in reviewing and enhancing the strategic direction of the consortium including opportunities for greater coordination, efficiencies, quality, reach, and impact, and complementarity with other actors and actions, inside and outside the RCRC movement.

Humanitarian Diplomacy and Fundraising

• In support of SARC, ensure informed and regular key messages, aligned with SARC’s strategic priorities and evidence of impact, are shared with relevant stakeholders, including ECHO.
• In support of the DRC Country Manager, when delegated, represent the consortium and associated strategic priorities internally within the movement and externally with complementary stakeholders in the humanitarian sector and with ECHO.
• Actively seek out complementary funding opportunities and coordinate and collate the development of consortium bids.
