Plan, gather, and analyze baseline assessments to inform programming
• Ensure AFH Community Liaison (CL) teams implement activities in accordance with approved work plans and
CL Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in the development and testing of risk awareness tools, communication materials, and education
Ensure all field-based IEP staff understand and adhere to GBV best-practice principles, Gender Equality and
Social Inclusion (GESI), Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH), and
Safeguarding (SG) policies, with strict confidentiality.
Assessment and Evaluation
• Plan, conduct, and lead accurate and effective pre- and post-clearance Impact Assessments (including RCIA
and CCIA), incorporating group interviews, household surveys, photographs, and mapping.
• Ensure Risk Education Knowledge Retention Surveys are conducted 3–6 months post-session, alongside pre-
and post-RE surveys.
• Identify trends and patterns in CL processes and implementation, and share lessons learned to improve
operational effectiveness.
• Evaluate activity progress, define performance indicators, structure operational data collection, and support
implementation of quality assurance protocols in coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
Department.
Quality Control and Assurance
• Implement quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) methodologies and procedures for all CL activities,
including liaison, surveys, Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE), Non-Technical Survey (NTS), and
training sessions.
• Monitor project risk levels and effectiveness of risk mitigation plans; report findings to the Protection
Coordinator to address issues proactively.
Reporting and Coordination
• Coordinate with the M&E team to compile accurate monthly reports, quarterly trend analyses, and identify ways
to improve reporting quality.
• Contribute to data-driven decision-making by ensuring relevant information from assessments and field
activities is used to guide project improvements.
Other Duties
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Protection Coordinator.
University or institute degree in a related field Social Studies, humanitarian studies, or
International Development. Significant relevant work experience in these specific areas will be
considered as an added value
General Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as EORE & NTS Supervisor, with an understanding of Child
Protection integration intervention with education sector according to EiE and CPMS principles.
