The psychosocial support worker provides essential
psychosocial support services to targeted individuals and
communities through individual and group interactive activities
aimed at improving psychological adjustment, enhancing
resilience and mental health, and creating a safe and
supportive environment within a humanitarian framework that
respects dignity and promotes protection.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement group and individual psychosocial support
sessions targeting children, women, and adults,
appropriate to the context and target group.
• Organize recreational and educational activities aimed at
promoting mental health and well-being.
• Contribute to identifying cases requiring specialized
intervention and referring them to appropriate services, in
coordination with the specialized team.
• Follow up on beneficiaries' progress and monitor
behavioral and psychological changes, in coordination
with the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during the
implementation of activities, ensuring respect for diversity.
• Prepare periodic reports on implemented activities, the
number of beneficiaries, and field challenges.
• Work closely with protection, education, health, and other
teams to support sector integration.
• Contribute to the design of needs-based activities based
on field assessments.
• Respect beneficiaries' privacy and maintain the
confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Implement activities according to the weekly and monthly
plans developed by management.
• Use formal forms and reports for activities and
psychosocial support.
• Participate in internal coordination meetings and technical
supervision sessions.
• Contribute to improving the quality of activities by
providing feedback and sharing lessons learned.
• Fully adhere to the principles of humanitarian action,protection, and confidentiality.
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for gender-based
violence and exploitation.
• Respect the Code of Conduct and standards for the
protection of children, women, and vulnerable groups.
• Contribute to creating a safe and supportive working
environment for all beneficiaries without discrimination.

Note:
Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities
/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future
responsibilities/accountability may be assigned to the job
depending on the department organizational chart.

Requirements:
• A university degree or associate's degree in psychology,
social work, counseling, education, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in psychosocial support
or community work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to
interact with diverse groups.
• Ability to implement interactive activities in a field
setting.
• Commitment to humanitarian principles and
teamwork.
• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Additional advantage:
• Participation in psychological first aid or PFA/PSS
training.
• Experience working with humanitarian organizations or
in emergency settings.
• Proficiency in English or additional local languages.

• Advanced knowledge in project management.
• Basic knowledge of budget management
• Basic knowledge in building partnerships

and other applications related to project
management.
