Security guards carry out clearly defined routine tasks, including access control, patrolling, monitoring surveillance systems, and reporting incidents. The challenges they face are generally predictable and recur on a daily basis. These situations are managed according to established procedures and standard operating protocols, ensuring a structured and consistent approach to maintaining security.
· Ensure punctuality and proper presentation for duty.
· Politely greet staff and authorized visitors upon arrival.
· Perform duties as directed by the line manager, ensuring tasks do not put guards at risk.
· Perform access control duties for organization facilities, ensuring all individuals present valid ID cards before entry.
· Ensure visitors are signed in and out of organization facilities.
· Be familiar with all types of ID cards and personnel at the organization.
· Ascertain the purpose of visits and assist visitors in contacting and locating the organization staff.
· Perform duties as perimeter guards, preventing unauthorized personnel or vehicles from entering organization premises.
· Conduct periodic patrols around the perimeter and maintain good relations with the local neighborhood.
· Inspect physical security measures and report damages or gaps to the line manager
· High School
· Literacy in Arabic
· Practical experience in security operations and following procedures
· 6 months of previous guard experience with an INGO
· Logistics experience is desirable
· Basic English is desirable
