Policy and Procedures for Preventing and Responding to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Policy Child Safeguarding.

  • JRS has a policy of zero tolerance of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) by volunteers. All volunteers shall protect against and prevent sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).

  • JRS has a robust Child Safeguarding Policy and accompanying procedures, and all volunteers must adhere to a culture of child centered best practice and uphold the JRS Child Safeguarding Policy and follow the related procedures

  1. Participate in preparing the Community Building and Social Cohesion activities.

  2. Develop and organize relevant content, resources, and materials that address the needs and interests of the community.

  3. Conduct interviews to record data of families registered in the Community Building and Social Cohesion Program in coordination with the direct supervisor.

  4. Organize and lead events, workshops, discussions, and other activities that encourage meaningful interactions and engagement among community members.

  5. Prepare and equip the necessary tools and means to implement the program and to facilitate workshops.

  6. Coordinate with the Case worker when individual sessions are needed

  7. Accompany and support families through periodic visits when needed.

  8. Welcome families within the center and respond to their inquiries.

  9. Foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere where diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and opinions are respected and valued.

  10. Promote the exchange of knowledge, resources, and experiences among community members to facilitate mutual learning and growth.

  1. Institute certificate.

  2. One year experience with art workshops facilitating (Painting, Sculpture, Embroidery)

  3. Knowledge in Social Cohesion activities.

  4. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  5. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  6. Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, Communication, strong problem -solving and ability to listen effectively.

  7. Time Management Skills.

  8. Ability to work in multicultural environment.

  9. Ability to perform tasks under pressure.
