The position is to be filled by Sep 2026, with a contract duration of one month. There are good
prospects for an extension. Employment/Service location will be Aleppo &Hama / Syria with
daily wage of 25$ per working day.
Support the implementation of project activities including registration, verification,
and distribution.
• Assist in the distribution and/or redemption of vouchers and cash support to
beneficiaries.
• Work closely with Team leaders and project officers to ensure activities are
implemented effectively and according to the plan.
• Support in data collection activities (e.g. post-distribution monitoring, assessments,
questionnaires, etc.).
• Support in preparation and organization of trainings, community meetings, or project-
related events.
• Document field activities including photo documentation, beneficiary feedback, and
incident reports.
• Support in the delivery of feedback and complaints from the community and ensure
timely reporting to field staff.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisors about field conditions, including
any security-related updates.
• Follow all WHH guidelines and procedures including safety, visibility protocols.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Position open to Syrian nationals only and will be based in Damascus or Aleppo office.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project implementation with NGOs or similar
settings.
• Knowledge and experience in supporting humanitarian activities including
registration, distribution, or monitoring.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
• Arabic language – required (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with the local context of Azaz and/or Afrin.
• High school diploma or relevant vocational training.
Desired
• Experience in using digital data collection tools (e.g., Kobo, CommCare).
• Previous experience working with NGOs, INGOs or UN agencies.
• Experience working in insecure and remote locations and reporting to management.
