Job Purpose

The Training Officer will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and delivering all training courses related to the Bonyan Organization's project in Damascus and Rural Damascus to a high standard. They will also be personally responsible for the technical implementation of the training and will work closely with the Project Manager, the Information Management Manager, and the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor training plans according to project outputs and timeframes and budget
  2. Design training content in accordance with street football world and football3 handbooks and guidelines
  3. Disseminate training opportunities in coordination with public schools, and provincial sport
  4. Organize and deliver trainings in accordance with the demand from the target audience (PE Teachers)
  5. Organize and deliver trainings for volunteers
  6. Follow-up with training beneficiaries to address any issues they may face in integrating Football3 modality into their classwork.
  7. Provide reports on the plans, results, outputs and evaluation of each training course through questionnaires provided before and after the training.
  8. Provide feedback to the project/program managers to improve trainings.
  9. Write minutes and points of training sessions
  10. Participate in any external/internal training and evaluation programs
  11. Regularly ensure all data entry related to attendance and sessions using specific templates, and to update this data periodically
  12. Prepare training documentation, including suitable photos, short films and other means in coordination with the media department.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Education or related field

Requirements:

  • At least three years of training experience preferably with a humanitarian organization
  • Prior experience in teacher training and/or experience in football3 modality
  • Proficiency in MS Office suits, and google tools
  • Working knowledge of English is a plus
  • Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
