The Finance & Logistics officer will be responsible for the day-to-day finance logistics needed for the implementation of the project activities and bookkeeping related to the project.
Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
Record and reconcile all project-related expenditures using QuickBooks (online version)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with organizational and donor requirements.
Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for internal management and donor submission.
Conduct budget tracking and provide variance analysis to management.
Monitor and forecast cash flow needs to ensure availability of funds.
Prepare and review bank and cash reconciliations on a regular basis.
Support both internal and external audits by maintaining organized financial documentation.
Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, donor, and internal control requirements.
Process staff salary payments and other entitlements in a timely manner.
Oversee procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, transparency, and value for money.
Maintain effective coordination between finance and logistics to support timely project delivery.
