Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures by all team members.
Assist the Project Director in hiring processes, ensuring timely and budget-aligned recruitment.
Conduct orientation sessions for new volunteers, covering JRS policies, values, mission, and vision.
Collaborate on probation period training plans and oversee their implementation and evaluation.
Identify training needs and work with the Country HR Office to create improvement plans.
Verify attendance, prepare timesheets, and ensure maintain records in the HR management system.
Address and resolve volunteer complaints and concerns.
Keep all staff files complete and updated.
Manage the performance review process in line with Country Office recommendations and support appraisals.
Follow up on performance review outcomes, supporting staff development or corrective actions.
Develop wellness programs or initiatives, such as mental health workshops or team-building activities.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as needed.
Submit detailed reports to the Project Director, highlighting staff needs and recommending solutions.
Maintain effective communication with the Country HR Office for suggestions, recommendations, or HR-related concerns.
Conduct regular field visits to support staff, monitor well-being, and report insights to the Project Director.
University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or in any other related field.
Minimum of three years of professional experience in Human Resources
Management.
Fluency in written and verbal English communication.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking, and planning skills.
Good supervisory skills and the ability to work as a team player.
Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
Effective time management skills and the ability to handle pressure.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and build healthy relationships with the team.
Proficient in creating detailed and accurate reports with a high level of attention to detail.
