Responsibilities ترجم للعربية
- Advising on strategic employment promotion and labour market policy approaches in the Syrian context
- Advising on governance and organisational structures in the responsible governmental bodies
- Advising on suitable, conflict-sensitive and inclusive active labour market measures
- Bringing in good practices on labour market and employment promotion policies
- Advising on the design of target group specific, context-specific employment promotion measures
- Liaising and coordinating with development partners and international organisations active in the field of employment promotion
- Where appropriate and reasonable, performing additional tasks upon request of the management

- University degree (Master’s degree) in economics, public administration or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional experience in advising governmental structures in the field of employment promotion, labour market policies or private sector development
- Strong knowledge of active labour market measures and addressing different groups in the labour market
- Solid knowledge of organisational development methods
- High familiarity with analysing and utilizing labour market data
- High level of cultural sensitivity and familiarity with social cohesion approaches
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic, knowledge of German is an asset
