NRC is in Syria to support people affected by forced displacement (IDPs, returnees, host community etc.) so that they
can have access to timely and effective assistance, to cope with the crisis and when the crisis ends return and rebuild
their lives. Since the start of its activities in mid-2016 in Syria, NRC has reached with humanitarian assistance to more
than 600,000 people particularly in the Governorates of Damascus, Aleppo, Qoneitra, Dara’a, Hama, Hassake
and Rif Damascus, out of which more than 152,000 people reached in 2020 with the provision of more than 255,000
services and moving forward to reach more during 2021.
NRC will continue to apply an integrated programming approach, where Education, capacity building, Shelter/WASH,
and Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) programmes work jointly to enable displacement-affected populations to
meet their basic needs, enjoy their rights, and benefit from pathways to durable solutions.
The following describes the specific responsibilities and the required skills, competencies, and qualifications/
experience for the position of Beautician trainer based in Tabqa City Those holding the position
of Beautician trainer Incentive Worker will work for the NRC education Youth Center in Tabqa delivering training
sessions on Beautician to youth females’ beneficiaries in selected communities.
Training young women in the profession of Beautician for females
2. Giving theoretical and practical sessions in the field of Beautician.
3. Training youth on the types of Beautician tools and equipment and their use
4. Training youth on how to maintain the safety of work equipment.
5. Conduct interim and final assessments of adolescent girls and follow up on their professional progress.
6. Training young people on how to maintain their safety while using the equipment.
7. Carry out and contribute to any activity related to the job under the direct manager's supervision.
8. Adhere to the security and safety rules of the organization.
9. Adhere to the organization's work and job behavior rules.
10. Ensure that the environment in which young people work is safe and welcoming.
11. Carrying out the interim and final evaluation and registration of youth under the supervision of the direct
manager
Required competencies/skills.
• The knowledge and ability to work on various Beautician tools.
• The ability to work individually and within a team.
• The ability to skillfully write and draft reports.
• The ability to work with young people and withstand work pressure.
• Communication skills and the ability to convey information effectively.
• The ability to abide by the rules of safety and security in the center.
Qualifications/Experience:
• At least four years of experience in the field of Beautician.
