 The function of the Physiotherapist is to provide physiotherapy services to the PTR Program in Al Bayada, Busra, Adra Al-

Balad, and Moadamiyah PHCs, including :patient assessment, treatment planning, rehabilitation sessions, follow-up care,

documentation, and referral coordination as required and efficiently


 

 Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for pediatric patients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve movement, strength, coordination, balance,

posture, and functional abilities.

• Assess and manage children with conditions such as:

Developmental delays, Cerebral palsy, Genetic disorders, Neuromuscular conditions, Musculoskeletal disorders, Sports

injuries, Orthopedic conditions, Respiratory conditions • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as

required.

• Prescribe and recommend appropriate therapeutic exercises, mobility aids, orthotics, and assistive devices.

• Ability to assess pediatric patients and prescribe appropriate orthotic devices, including medical shoes, AFOs,

GRAFOs, and other customized lower-limb orthoses.

• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies.

• Provide family-centered care and involve parents or caregivers in treatment planning.

• Offer guidance, education, and emotional support to families regarding their child's condition and rehabilitation

goals.


 

• Graduated from a recognized Physiotherapy Institute or holds a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy

(bachelor’s degree preferred).

• valid professional license/registration as a Physiotherapist in accordance with local regulatory

requirements.

• Minimum 2 years of physiotherapy experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of pediatric growth, development, and rehabilitation principles.

• Excellent clinical assessment and treatment skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to establish rapport with children and families.

• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

• Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills.

• Good documentation and computer skills.
