Job Purpose
To Work on implementing the activities of the MEAL Department in Violet Organization and support the MEAL Coordinator in the Idleb office to complete all MEAL requirements
Support the MEAL Coordinator in the Idleb office implementation of program evaluations, including planning,
Support and facilitate trainings for field staff on data collection and ensuring learning from finding and recommendations is communicated to direct managers in Türkiye.
Support programming and field staff to ensure that projects are carried out with participation from affected communities and that information is shared with affected communities.
Overall responsibility on the quality of data collected by MEAL Assistants and reported to Idleb office.
Provide field-based support and coordination to the MEAL Assistants. Support includes day-to-day coordination of movements, security debriefs (in coordination with security focal points), and logistical support with appropriate Violet.
Support administrative and HR-related needs for MEAL assistant team. This will include timesheets (verification and approval), performance management evaluations, equipment needs, etc.
Assure daily debriefs are occurring with all active MEAL Assistants with the appropriate management.
Coordinate with the MEAL Managers (programs), Reporting Officer(s), other assessment team members, security representatives, and field coordinators as needed for all monitoring and assessment activities.
Upload data and forms via wireless internet on a regular basis
Facilitate carrying out other sector-specific assessments, surveys, data collection activities as needed
Cross-check problematic or inconsistent data received from the field with team leaders MEAL assistants
Support Idleb MEAL Coordinator in data analysis and reporting phase
Track, follow-up, and share the monitoring findings/results with MEAL and program departments focal points

A. Essential:
University certificate
More than three years of experience in the field of MEAL
B. Desirable:
More than 3 years of experience in Humanitarian sector.
