
Job Overview/Summary: With direct management support from the Integrated Protection Manager and technical support from CP Senior Manager, The IRC Senior CP Officer will ensure the good delivery of the Child Protection activities in Idleb and the other Syrian governorates. The Child Protection Senior Officer plays a key role in leading project Implementation, monitoring and evaluation, providing technical oversight, Support and guidance to the IRC’s child protection services including partners inside Idleb and the other Syrian governorates.
The Senior Child Protection Officer will be responsible for technical support and supervision of ---— field level implementation of IRC’s and partners’ CP programming in Syria. Including comprehensive child protection services through case management, Safe Healing and Learning Spaces, parenting education; outreach PSS; raising awareness on child protection; support to community protection committees; training of service providers and community leaders; and rapid emergency assessments and response. The Senior Child Protection Officer will be supporting the design, set-up and monitoring and evaluation of the program in Idleb and the other Syrian governorates and ensuring timely, effective and quality programming by sharing tools and resources and providing capacity building support and on-the-job coaching to the child protection staff recruited by IRC and IRC’s local partner. The Senior Child Protection Officer will be working closely with the Child Protection team to oversee the ---- field level implementation of IRC’s and partners’ CP programming implementation in Idleb and the other Syrian governorates ----. Under the supervision by the Project Manager, the Senior Child protection officer will work closely with the project team to contribute to the project implementation.

Job Requirements:
Education***:*** University degree in social science, social work pedagogy or relevant field
Work Experience:
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Team player, flexible, network-builder, able to handle pressure, enjoying working in the field
Ability to develop partnerships, network and attend coordination meeting
Good communication skills
Language Skills:
Fluency in writing and typing in Arabic and English is mandatory. Kurdish is preferable
Certificates or Licenses:
Proficient in Word and Excel
