1. Direct Psychosocial Support
- Provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) in clinics, mobile medical units, and community settings.
- Conduct structured individual and group PSS sessions for adults, adolescents, and children.
- Support patients with chronic illness, war-related trauma, displacement stress, and disability.
- Deliver caregiver support sessions when needed.
- Monitor beneficiary progress and provide follow-up.
2. Case Identification and Safe Referral
- Screen beneficiaries using approved MHPSS tools.
- Identify high-risk cases (GBV survivors, severe mental disorders, suicide risk, child protection concerns).
- Refer cases through established referral pathways (psychologist, psychiatrist, protection services).
- Coordinate closely with PHC doctors, nurses, and protection teams.
- Ensure safe and confidential case handling.
3. Community Engagement & Awareness
- Conduct psychoeducation sessions on:
- stress and trauma reactions
- positive coping strategies
- parenting under stress
- self-care and wellbeing
- Support community-based PSS activities in camps, host communities, and health facilities.
- Engage community leaders and volunteers to reduce stigma around mental health.
- Promote service awareness among Syrian refugees and host communities in Türkiye.
4. Documentation, IM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential case files in line with NGO SOPs.
- Use approved data collection tools (paper or digital).
- Submit weekly/monthly reports to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with data protection standards (GDPR-aligned where applicable in Türkiye).
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and indicator tracking.
5. Coordination & Program Support
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Coordinate with Protection, GBV, Child Protection, and Health teams.
- Support emergency response and rapid needs assessments when required.
- Contribute to mapping of MHPSS and protection services in the area.
