2.1 Clinical Responsibilities

Provide nursing care within licensed scope of practice.

Perform patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and documentation.

Assist the Remote Site Doctor during medical procedures and emergency interventions.

Administer medications as prescribed by the Site Doctor and in accordance with approved protocols.

Administer medications only under the supervision and responsibility of the Site Doctor.

Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential nursing records.

Implement infection prevention and control (IPC) measures.

Monitor patients under observation and report changes in condition promptly

When working independently, administer only medications authorized for nurses by the KRG Ministry of Health.

2.2 Emergency & Medevac Responsibilities

Respond immediately to medical emergencies while deployed on site.

Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and assist in Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions.

Prepare patients for medical evacuation (Medevac) under direction of the Doctor.

Assist in ambulance readiness and emergency equipment preparation.

Participate in site emergency response drills and simulations.

Support the Medical Response Team during major incidents.

Be physically present during assigned clinic working hours and maintain operational readiness at all times.

2.3 Occupational Health Responsibilities

Assist in conducting pre-employment, periodic, and fitness-for-duty medical examinations if required 

Support alcohol and fitness testing for drivers and machinery operators if required. 

Participate in health surveillance programs.

Conduct hygiene inspections and support water quality monitoring activities.

Participate in incident investigations when required.

2.4 Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspection of clinic equipment and emergency supplies.

Maintain adequate stock levels of medications and consumables.

Ensure proper storage and documentation of pharmaceuticals.

Maintain comprehensive and secure medical records.

Ensure biomedical waste is handled and disposed of according to regulations.

Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical information.

Assist in monthly inventory review of medications and consumables and report shortages to the Site Doctor.

2.5 Compliance & Professional Standards

Maintain a valid and active nursing license recognized by the Ministry of Health.

Practice strictly within licensed scope of practice.

Wear required uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during duty hours.

Participate in Continued Medical Education (CME) and mandatory annual training.

Adhere strictly to nursing ethics, patient confidentiality, and data protection regulations.
