In Coordination with the Country HR Manager manage employee relations disputes, complaints and conflicts in a professional manner with the aim of empowering employees and supervisors to have the necessary tools, resources and knowledge to resolve conflicts in a positive reinforcement manner
Through weekly team meetings remind staff on teamwork, grievances resolution and values of Oxfam
Report all Employee Relations Matters to the Country HR Manager or through whistleblowing channels.
Required to adhere to Oxfam’s principles and values as well as the promotion of gender justice and women's rights
Understanding of and commitment to adhere to equity, diversity, gender, child safety and staff health and wellbeing principles
Other duties may be reasonably required in supporting the delivery of team objectives and outcomes including as required travelling to other hubs at short notice.

In addition:
• Bachelor's degree holder with 3 years of experience or High secondary with experience of education 5 years of experience in HR Roles database management, absence tracking, recruitment, etc. This experience should include HR related roles (such as Employee Relations Officer, Talent Acquisition Officer, HR Generalist, HR Compliance Officer, Learning and Development Officer, etc)
• Proven experience of management/supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in compensation and benefits administration, leave management, and personnel management
• Proven track record of supporting HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training & development.
• Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), payroll management, and absence management systems.
• Knowledge of Syrian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is essential both written and verbal.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 75% for any official need.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work under pressure and in insecure areas.
• Commitment to humanitarian principles and action.
Desirable:
• Experience working with international NGOs or humanitarian organizations
• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration
