The position is to be filled by Sep1, 2026, with a contract duration of one month. There are

good prospects for an extension. Employment/Service location will be Aleppo, Idleb,

Hama/Syria.

Your Responsibilities

1. Support data collection activities for the multisectoral needs assessment in Aleppo,

Hama, and Idleb.

2. Conduct field visits to gather data through surveys, interviews, and observations.

3. Ensure accurate documentation of collected data and submit daily reports,

feedback, and observations to the MEAL Officer.

4. Coordinate and work closely with WHH assessment teams, local authorities, and

community representatives to ensure smooth implementation of data collection

activities.

5. Ensure data quality, completeness, and confidentiality during all stages of the

assessment.

6. Use digital data collection tools such as CommCare and MS Office applications to

record and manage information.

7. Report any challenges, risks, or security concerns affecting fieldwork through

appropriate communication channels such as WhatsApp, email, or direct calls.

8. Support verification and validation of collected data as requested by the MEAL

Officer.

9. Contribute to identifying key needs and priorities across sectors affecting affected

communities, with particular attention to vulnerable groups.

10. Perform any other duties assigned by the MEAL Officer to support the assessment

process
