Function Details
PHC Doctor will be responsible to check all patients depending on DDD treatment protocol;
Check all patients in DDD clinics and treat them depending on MDM treatment protocol
Inform team leader about any Alert cases depending on EWARN definition
Explain to patients about the diagnosis and treatments
Ensure that patient privacy and confidentiality are respected
Filling Medical papers
Filling DDD files depending on direct line explanation
Write the treatment on prescription depending on direct line recommendation
Filling tally sheets forms, outpatient’s form, referral forms, referral registration and daily morbidity
Reporting
Provide a mission report and/or handover document at the end of contract.
Other
Any other related DDD tasks as assigned by supervisor/line manager.
Knowledge & Qualification
Medical doctorate
Experience
At least two years of good knowledge and experience in Non-Communicable Diseases with understanding of the wider Environmental Health issues and their impact on NCD control.
Languages
Required: Arabic (oral and written)
Preferred: English
General Qualities required:
Diplomatic.
Flexibility and capacity to adapt to complex and changing contexts.
Ability to work in an international context and collaborate with international and national experts.
Familiar with multicultural environment.
