The Field Officer will be responsible for direct supervision and documentation of all child-related activities in the project sites. He/she will report to the Child Protection Officer in Turkey and will be tasked with organizing and supervising the case management team and all related tasks, the psychosocial support team, and supervising awareness raising and initial psychosocial support sessions.

Supervising child protection teams and monitoring their daily activities.

  • Holding meetings with psychosocial support facilitatorsand case workersand supervising them.
  • Developing intervention plans (PSS – case management- PFA-awareness sessions**-**).
  • Supervising interventions daily.
  • Producing Daıly-Weekly- and monthly reports regarding activities at each site, highlighting challenges, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Attending relevant training sessions or events.
  • Raising awareness about the code of conduct for working with children and Child Safeguarding (CSG).
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to child rights principles, particularly respecting confidentiality and using a child-centered approach where the best interest of the child is paramount and responding appropriately to disclosures or concerns related to the child's mental well-being. .
  • University degree in psychology sociology, related field of study.
  • 3 years of work in NGOs/INGO.
  • Previous work in child protection/case management programs.
  • Field experience and a solid understanding of psychosocial / protection issues in such context.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working on and mainstreaming gender issues.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to deal with sensitive situations with integrity.
  • The confidence and good judgment to manage situations relating to the poor conduct/behavior of others towards a child.
  • Ability to work within a fluid situation (changes within the team, location of programs).
  • Proficient in using OneDrive and maintaining organized archives
