CARE Syria invites ‘Expressions of Interest’ from interested national NGOs/Community Based Organizations for possible partnership with CARE Syria after completion of official registration to implement wide range of activities under FSL, protection, WASH, Emergency, and shelter rehabilitation sectors subject to funding availability from donors. Interested NGOs/ CBOs must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Proof of legal status and registration as a charity or NGO/CBO in government of Syria or that they are registered with the church.
2. NGO/CBO shall have institutional presence and program activities in south and centralSyria (Damascus, Rural Damascus, Daraa, Homs, Quneitra)
3. NGOs shall be committed and focused to working with the poorest and most vulnerable communities with special focus on women empowerment.
4. NGOs with institutional capacity in FSL, WASH, protection, emergency and shelter rehabilitation.
5. NGOs have proven ability to manage small/medium donor-funded projects with small/ medium budgets.
6. Commitments from higher level management of the organization for smooth operations and management of the program.
7. Has not been blacklisted or placed under funding restriction by any government, government agencies, international agency or donors and has no immediate known affiliations with terrorist or other restricted groups or individuals (via informal vetting).
8. Understanding and willingness to work with the CARE operational modality for South and Central Syria.
9. NGOs with strong Safeguarding working environment i.e have Code of Conduct, Anti-Fraud PSEA and gender policy
